Squirrel in his Nut Silhouette

features an adorable squirrel
that i hand cut out of a sheet of brass,
i then sanded and buffed it to a supper
shine!
and around the squirrel is a lovely copper border
acorn that i patinaed and tumbled to a nice shine,
the third layer is textured and hand sawed out this as well
to make the top layer of the acorn!
then put a patina over it to give it an antiqued look

i then used fine silver wire and made 2 ball
head rivets to hold the piece together!

the bail is built into the top layer of the
acorn and has a woven leather chain.
