Roots - Wall Piece

This piece is fairly large and was all sawed out by hand. It was definitely a labor of love. The concept behind the piece is kind of like a family tree. The photos used in it are vintage photos from the 1800's and are of people that have lost their memories and no longer are attached to a family. Thus instead of growing into a family tree,they have become the roots. The beginnings of a tree of lost souls.
